Sarah Jarosz is the newest addition to my playlist. Originally from Texas and barely 20, Sara Jorosz is a true musical talent. Her newest album, Follow Me Down, came out on May, 17, 2011 and is full of acoustical songs that show off her singing and playing abilities.I would reccomend this album for a relaxing moment in your life, whether you are stressed out and need a calm break or you have some time to close your eyes and just soak the music in. This does not mean that I find this album in anyway boring, but the vibe is definitely a relaxing one, not something to play at a party or for a long car drive. If you are not a country music lover, stay away from this album. There is definitely a bluegrass element throughout the album, mixed with folk music. If you are a true music fan, you will definitely be adding the talent of Sarah Jorosz to your music library. Maybe put it between Norah Jones, and Florence and the Machine. She plays eight different string instruments, she writes her own songs and her voice is a rhaspy original that has the ability to relax and soothe your mind.Through her songs, you get the feeling that
she is an old soul with something to say, so give her a listen and tell me what you think.
